Gantze Megilla--The Whole Story

Yes, the whole long drawn out story of me...my life...my day...and my journey...

New Territories

My husband is quitting his job of 19 years (he started there when he was 16 as a porter and moved to body shop apprentice and then to salesperson) and is going to have a go at a new career. He enrolled at a local community college to brush up on his English and writing skills and at the beginning of August will attend an 11-day certification school for home inspectors. Provided he passes the test and then schedules and passes the National test, he is in business...well, not quite. But, he will have the skills necessary to attempt to find a job.

In two weeks, we have to come up with the money to get a vehicle for him to drive, insurance, health insurance and money for the certification school and community college class--all with MINUS an income. Ack!

Did I mention I thrive on stress? Not!

Still, it is exciting to all of us (oh yes, kiddies and all) that he won't be putting in 55+ hours a week. Rob is looking forward to being able to actually see his family someplace other than asleep in bed and also about being able to celebrate Shabbat with us.

Knock on wood, cross your fingers, say a prayer, send good thought, or do whatever it is you do to wish us luck!

Good luck to everyone involved! We know how hard it is to start something new with so much already on your plate. You will be in our prayers.
